I want my clients to feel comfortable approaching me about absolutely anything. Whether it’s urgent advice or just a listening ear that’s needed, I am always happy to make myself available for a call or a meeting. I take pleasure in finishing each day knowing that I have done my very best for my clients in whatever capacity they need support.
Much of my work involves helping owners manage businesses and navigate the challenges that running a business can bring. I encourage my clients to confide in me about all aspects of their businesses – not just the standard tax and financial management concerns. This allows me to offer broader, commercial advice and to genuinely operate as a member of their team. I also advise on corporate restructuring, acquisitions, and joint venture arrangements for larger companies.

I joined Gerald Edelman in 1990, having qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1989. I was admitted to the partnership in 1998 and currently sit on the firm’s Executive Board.
What is the most daring thing you’ve ever done?
A few years ago, I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. I think the hardest part was not the physical demands of the climb but the sheer willpower and determination to beat the elements and stave off altitude sickness – not ideal to be feeling wobbly at that height!
What is the most exciting thing on your bucket list?
I would love to take a road trip from the East Coast to the West Coast of the USA. Having the freedom to take my time and enjoy the open road would be exhilarating and an unforgettable experience.
What one piece of advice would you give your 10-year-old self?
Give everything you do your best. Work hard but never forget to play hard – otherwise, what’s the point?
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
The power of omnilingualism – the ability to communicate with anyone anywhere would make the world a much better place.
