CONTACT SIMONE
I build very close relationships with my clients, and because I value these relationships, I often make myself available to them beyond office hours.
I always ensure that tax deadlines are met and that clients are fully aware of their obligations.
I advise a wide range of the firm’s clients, from large companies and SMEs to personal tax clients on all tax related matters. Much of my time is spent preparing and reviewing tax returns, as well as advising business owners on how best to organise their assets to achieve the greatest tax efficiencies.
If you’re interested…
After graduating with a degree in Mathematics and Management Studies from Leeds University, I went on qualify as a Chartered Accountant in 2002. After spending the early part of my career at a top 20 firm, I joined Gerald Edelman in 2008 and have worked alongside the partners to assist with clients’ tax affairs, completing their tax returns and liaising with HMRC on any queries they arise.
What is the most daring thing you’ve ever done and why?
Becoming a scout leader and throwing myself into all the activities that the scouts do has been challenging, but as a leader you can’t show fear to the children. Having said that I would never jump a ‘leap of faith’ again!
What one piece of advice would you give your 10-year-old self?
Work hard and when you finish school, take a year out to travel the world.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
To be in two places at once. I love my job and helping my clients but I also have three children. It would be great to have the ability to be both at work and attend all of those important events with my children.
